Plus learn some tips for making them look super professional–from utilizing a twin needle to serging in the elastic, and this class is also a great way to enter the world of knits. - Pattern Required: Jalie Pattern #2920* (available at MD & Bolt)
- 1 1/8–1 1/4 yd of 2-way stretch jersey knit, can be any manner of blend but be sure it has some spandex in it. Bolt has delicious soy and bamboo blends as well as cotton. Try to stick with natural fibers. Yardage depending on height or length desired. At 5’7″, making sure they are plenty long, I used 1 1/4 yd. Please prewash.
- 1 package or 1 yd (if your waist is larger than 36″, then purchase enough to accomodate) of 3/4″ braided elastic, black or white, whatever matches your yardage best*
- Stretch Twin Needle 4.0/75*
- 4 coordinating serger cone threads*
- Swedish Tracing Paper*
