Make this beautiful row style baby quilt with a clean modern feel. In this 3 session class students will make a 33“x40” baby or wall quilt. Students will learn the basics of quilt construction, including basic patchwork piecing, making a quilt sandwich, machine quilting using a walking foot, and making and sewing binding. This beginner-friendly project is perfect for sewers familiar with basic machine operation who are looking to dive into the world of quilt making! This class will require homework.

- 5 different 1/4 yard cuts for this quilt. If using scraps for this project, please be sure you have pieces that are at least 5″ square. It is not necessary to have your fabric cut to 5″ squares for the first meeting of class
- 5/8 yard neutral solid cotton fabric for sashing
- 37″x44″ low-loft cotton batting*
- 1&1/4 yard coordinating cotton print fabric for backing
- 3/8 yard coordinating cotton print or solid fabric for binding
- 500m cotton thread for piecing, quilting, and binding*
